Posting Guidelines

1. Wanted Ads Only

WantedStuff.com is for people looking for items, services or other permitted things.

Advertisements offering items for sale are not permitted.

Wanted Ad titles must use one of the available prefixes:

• WTB
• Wanted
• ISO

2. Accurate Advertisements

Advertisements should clearly and accurately describe what you are looking for.

Do not deliberately provide false, misleading or deceptive information.

3. Contact Information

Do not include personal contact details in your Wanted Ad.

This includes contact information in the title, description, username, location fields, budget fields or images.

Examples of prohibited contact information include:

• Phone numbers
• Email addresses
• Website addresses or links
• Social media usernames or accounts
• Messaging app usernames or contact details

Users should communicate through the WantedStuff.com internal messaging system.

4. Images

Users may upload up to 6 images with a Wanted Ad.

Images must relate to the item or subject of the Wanted Ad and must not contain prohibited contact information.

Images may be subject to automatic or manual review. Images requiring review may remain hidden from public view until they have been approved.

WantedStuff.com may reject or remove images that breach these Posting Guidelines or other site rules.

5. Free Wanted Ad Limit

Each user may publish a maximum of 7 new free Wanted Ads in any rolling 7-day period.

A rolling 7-day period means the limit is calculated using the previous 7 days from the time a new free ad is being published.

Renewing an existing Wanted Ad does not count as a new free advertisement for this limit.

Purchasing Go Top or Featured for an existing advertisement does not count toward the free-ad limit.

A new Wanted Ad published with a paid Go Top and/or Featured promotion is not subject to the 7-new-free-ads limit.

Deleting a free Wanted Ad does not restore a free posting slot. The original free publication continues to count until it falls outside the rolling 7-day period.

6. Duplicate Advertisements

A user may not create another Wanted Ad with the same title in the same category when they already have an existing advertisement using that title in that category.

For duplicate checking, WantedStuff.com may ignore differences such as WTB, Wanted or ISO prefixes, capitalization, punctuation and extra spaces.

Different users are allowed to use the same Wanted Ad title, including in the same category or location.

The same user may also use the same title in a different category where the advertisement genuinely belongs in that category.

Paid promotions do not override the duplicate-ad rule.

Where an existing advertisement has expired, users should normally renew the existing advertisement rather than creating another copy.

7. Advertisement Duration and Renewal

Standard Wanted Ads are normally active for 30 days unless deleted or otherwise removed earlier.

When an advertisement is renewed, it is treated as a freshly renewed listing and receives a new 30-day active period.

A renewed advertisement may return to the top of normal listings based on its new renewal time.

8. Go Top and Featured Ads

Go Top is an optional paid promotion that gives an advertisement a one-time bump toward the top of normal listings.

Go Top does not reset the normal advertisement expiry date.

Featured Ads receive additional visibility for the selected Featured period.

Activating Featured on an existing advertisement resets the advertisement's normal 30-day active period from the time Featured is activated.

Paid promotions do not guarantee responses, views, purchases, successful results or a particular position on the website.

9. Prohibited Content

Advertisements must not contain unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, misleading or otherwise prohibited content.

Users must not use WantedStuff.com to request goods, services or activities that are illegal in the applicable location.

10. Categories

Users should place advertisements in the most appropriate available category.

WantedStuff.com may move, edit, deactivate or remove an advertisement that has been placed in an inappropriate category or otherwise breaches site rules.

11. Moderation

WantedStuff.com may review advertisements, images and account activity for compliance with these Posting Guidelines and the Terms & Conditions.

Advertisements or images may be edited, deactivated, rejected or removed where reasonably necessary to enforce site rules, protect users or operate the service.

Repeated or serious breaches may result in restrictions being placed on an account.

12. Changes to These Guidelines

WantedStuff.com may update these Posting Guidelines from time to time as the website, its features or its policies change.
